Mimizan Campsite

Would you like to spend your family holiday in the heart of nature? Rent a mobile home in Mimizan, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, and take advantage of this fantastic sea and forest setting. This region has a great cultural and natural heritage just waiting for you to discover. Head to the Priory Museum (musée du Prieuré) to admire a pearl of medieval art: one of the most beautiful portals sculpted in the 13th century. The bell tower is the last vestige of the Benedictine priory, and has been classified as a historical monument. Take one of the many cycle paths that traverse the town to explore the region. The lake of Aureilhan is popular with fishermen. Carp, pike, pike perch and eels are some of the varied species of fish that live in these waters. Walk along the lake and its flowery promenade where you can admire over 300 varieties of plants and be drawn into this colourful spectacle. In summer season, spend a serene afternoon lying on the fine sand, facing the ocean from Mimizan beach, or indulge in one of the many sports on offer in the commune: surfing, jet-skiing, sand yachting or even beach volleyball. Your children can enjoy themselves in complete safety thanks to the lifeguards who watch over the beaches. During your stay at the campsite, take advantage of its proximity to the Landes de Gascogne forest massif for long walks along marked trails between the pines, a playground for nature lovers.
