Tourist guide

Dive into the Mediterranean!

In the Var department, on the Mediterranean coast, the ‘French Riviera’ owes all its charm to its seaside resorts, its towns of art and history and its hinterland of surprising vegetation. Bathed in generous sunshine all year round, the Côte d'Azur offers you blue skies, beaches, cicadas, creeks and calanques... You'll soon fall in love with it too!

Port-Grimaud, nicknamed the ‘Venice of Provence’, is a charming coastal village on the Riviera, famous for its picturesque canals, colourful houses and authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. In Port Grimaud, tradition is the order of the day, and on almost every street corner you'll come across craftsmen's workshops, antique shops and charming little restaurants...

You can also take the little train (leaving from the campsite) to discover a hilltop village at the end of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Grimaud village: one of the oldest villages in the Massif des Maures, with its Château, the Romanesque Provençal church of Saint-Michel, the Chapelle Saint-Roch, the Musée Municipal des Arts et Traditions Populaires, the Moulin and numerous fountains decorated with the Château's coat of arms. Discover a panoramic view of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and squares shaded by century-old hackberry trees.

If you're on holiday on the Côte d'Azur, there's never been a better time to discover local produce!

Culture and heritage

Among the sites to discover: the Château de Grimaud, Saint-Tropez, Bormes-les-Mimosas, Grasse, a tour of the canals aboard the ‘coches d'eau’, the Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires de Grimaud, and the church of Saint-Michel de Grimaud.’
