On the shores of the Adriatic Sea, in the North-East of Italy, stands the beautiful Caorle, not far from Venice. This charming seaside town won’t fail to win you over, with its historic centre and sandy beaches. We have chosen two dream campsites for your stay.
With its lush 65-hectare park and its aquatic facilities of over 35 000 m², the Pra’Delle Torri campsite awaits you, just around the corner from its private beach. When you stay in one of the mobile homes on this Italian campsite, you can enjoy all the attractions of the centre as well as 5 restaurants to choose from. Between Venice and Trieste, not far from Caorle, enjoy the haven of peace that is the 5-star Villagio San Francesco camping village. Here, you can take advantage of the aquatic centre’s 9 pools, where you can relax, swim or have a massage before going on an adventure around the region.
Step into the town of Caorle. From the outset, you’ll be captivated by the colourful little houses of the town centre. Roam through the narrow streets, which will protect you from the sun’s rays. Caorle has become a very popular tourist destination thanks to its picturesque centre and its magnificent sandy beaches.
Admire Caorle Lagoon, which inspired Hemingway in “Across the River and Into the Trees”. Visit the fishing port, which is located not on the edge of the town, but right in the centre! Then there are the timeless chiselled rocks on the shores of Petronia. You’ll have an unforgettable stay surrounded by fairytale landscapes.
Visit the market on Fridays. It’s quite a spectacle! The fishermen step right off the barges with their catch. Here you’ll find fish of excellent quality, as well as other delicious seafood. Eat as much as you like! Take a trip to Venice and take in the romantic atmosphere of this waterside city. Not far from Caorle, time stands still when the gondolas cruise along the narrow Venetian canals.
Caorle really has the best of both worlds. The warm and sunny Italian weather is the rule here, but it’s not too hot, like in the South. Caole enjoys the ideal location, where campers can enjoy perfect weather and a dream holiday. Look forward to a carefree stay on our campsite at Caorle.
