Those who come to the Dordogne for a romantic getaway can spend a candlelit evening in the hanging gardens of Marqueyssac, just a few miles away from our campsite. Music hall fans can go in search of Josephine Baker in theChâteau des Milandes, a protected historical monument, where she lived for more than ten years! Campers looking for architectural marvels should head to Périgueux and its Cathédrale de Saint-Front, a Roman Catholic jewel and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or stop at theChâteau de Beynac, a Medieval treasure famous as the best-preserved castle in the region.
