Tourist guide

The Roma Capitol campsite benefits from a prime location just 3 km from the beautiful Ostia Antica beach. You can make your way to the beach by catching the campsite shuttle.

The Mediterranean offers an extensive range of watersports to cater for pretty much everyone: kitesurfing, stand-up paddle, windsurfing, kayaking... It's up to you!

But if you prefer to use your holidays to sunbathe, this sandy beach is just what you need! The seafront also offers plenty of shops and restaurants.

For your family outings, why not explore the "Wild Village" adventure park (treetop activities, climbing, archery etc.) just 700 metres from the campsite or the "La Fattoria degli animali" farm. A little further away, Hydromania water park (25 km) and the Rainbow Magicland theme park (70 km) promise a fun and unforgettable day out.

Culture and heritage

Rome is less than 40 minutes from the campsite, so why not set off and discover its endless treasures.

There's so much to do and see that making a list would simply restrict you. After exploring all the historical attractions, stop off at Trevi Fountain to enjoy a drink and even an Italian ice-cream! And of course, you have to try an Italian restaurant.

There are endless monuments to visit in Rome and the Vatican...
The Catacombs of Rome, Sixtine Chapel, Roman coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Quirinal Palace, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Piazza della Repubblica, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Baths of Caracalla, Vatican, Villa Borghese gardens, Victor Emmanuel II Monument, Cinecittà Studios...

When you're camping in Rome, why not enjoy the organised trips to Tivoli and Villa d'Este, without forgetting Naples and Pompeii?
