The Château de Pujol and the Massane Tower are also nearby, where you can learn all about the area’s history. Take the time to explore the surrounding countryside, stroll through the villages and visit the Catalan fortresses. Villefranche-de-Conflent, ranked among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, won’t disappoint.

Not to mention Collioure, of course...

The small medieval town is just 10 minutes from the campsite. Situated right on the Mediterranean coast, its charm harks back to a time when Picasso, Matisse, Derain, Juan Gris and many other artists would meet there. You’ll also love its small beach, old castle and sloping streets.
