The town of Royan is a well-known seaside resort, full of tourist attractions that you will love, such as the Planet Exotica animal park, the Coolongalook adventure park, which offers adventure trails that are suitable to young and old, laser battles, warrior challenges, etc. The Royan Museum and the église Notre-Dame, with their modern architecture, are also worth a visit.

If you fancy it, you can explore the traditional villages of Brouage and Mornac-sur-Seudre, as well as the grottes du Régulus in Meschers-sur-Gironde, famous for its troglodytic sites. Further on, La Palmyre Zoo will be a delight for the whole family.
